Thank god...heart cannot be soul

Oh my ME !
So bright and beautiful
yet it is dark inside.....
I close my eyes
fold my hands and let loose.
I wish I fall,
on something I can call mine
yet.....
I realize there is nothing that this soul owns
nothing that it owes
It belongs to no one
this soul is free
and no one belongs to it
the heart may crave, may long
may cry out, may die
but it can never conquer the soul.
It can only be what it is.....a heart after all:)
